Cursed are just that cursed to live a life far from peaceful, but one that will always weight heavily on their minds. These are animals that are naturally vicious, deadly and dangerous probably more so than most would expect. They will be the ones terrorizing others, killing for blood more than for food and survival. Hence the goddess Luna has stepped forward in order to do something about these creatures. Even if it doesn't completely stop the brutal acts it will have an inpact for sure. During the mating season, those under the cursed omen are forced not only to shift into a human form. But than to mate ONLY with humans and live among them for a full year. Meaning any attempt to mate with another of their kind results in both being made to suffer physically. As pain will course though both the moment they even think to mate and will not go away only lessen till they concede to their true path. After the year is up than and only than will they be allowed to shift back to their true form and leave. IF that is what they still wish that is.

The first creature to be fall this cursed life was a female lynx named Destiny who had been raising havoc for over three years on this small town. Slipping in, slaughtering not only livestock, but children, adults anyone who dare cross her path. Leaving just a bloody mess behind when she left since she wasn't one to eat her victims, no Destiny preferred to leave them as a calling card of such.

However, after one such massacure while Destiny was cleaning up her coat near a stream. She came face to face with the goddess Luna herself, growling at this woman for interrupting her but as she went to attack. A bright blinding light of green flared up around the woman and blinded Destiny for a few moments. Thought it wasn't just to blind the lynx, no that light would be the beginning of the new path this lynx was now chosen to follow. Luna of course going over everything especially why this was happening and what it now meant.

Well needless to say Destiny was pissed, but even she couldn't go up against the goddess not and live to tell about it. So she reluctantly sat listening taking in what was going to happen and when the part about her being forced to mate with a human hit her ears. Well lets just say Destiny took a chance on an attack only to wind up blacking out waking alone and still by the stream, but now with a whole new path laid before her. One that she wasn't able to avoid.

Characteristics - The cursed don't look really any different in either form to give away that they are not what they seem. However, there is a unique mark located over their left shoulder. It is the mark of the goddess and depicts a moon broken in two halves colored in red and black. Any animal would know its meaning upon seeing it and realize the one marked to be that of a cursed. Since only those who the goddess deam unworthy are made to bare the mark for eternity.

Height & Weight: Varies according to each species though some tend to be twice what is normal. A trait that makes them even more dangerous.
Coat Colors: Basic, natural colors though tend to be on the more darker side with only faint hints of light color on their undercoat. However the black and red mark of luna is always visible. And is the only odd color to mark their bodies.
Eye Color: Natural for species only growing slightly lighter when human.
Environment: Tend to prefer the drier climates coming into more populated areas to hunt, only becoming a none issue for those who chose to remain human.
Diet: Always meat and blood. Even those natural plant eaters will want and crave meat and blood.
Lifespan: Varies to each species, however those in human will slow down their natural aging to be more natural.
Breeding: Human mating only and having offspring with the animal gene are a 5 in 10 chance per breeding.

OVERALL: Dangerous, vicious killers, marked for eternity by the goddess and forced to mate only with humans.
